Celebrate Filipino Creativity
A passionate, creative spirit runs deep, wide and strong within our Filipino American community!
Catch a vibrant glimpse — and help us celebrate — next Friday, September 5, during our Opening Night Reception for the 2nd Beyond The Barrelman Exhibition of Filipino Art. The reception is FREE and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
More than 250 Filipino Americans came together during our first showcase in 2005. This year, we’ve moved to a larger location and are looking forward to an even bigger celebration. Help us make this another success; and please forward this invite to friends, families and colleagues. [Note: click the "Invite Friends to this Event" button on the left column to forward this invitation to other people.]

The Day After: Adobofest
Whether or not you can make it to the opening reception, please come out to LaBagh Woods the following day, Sept. 6, for FAN's 1st annual Adobofest! Yes, this will be a full weekend celebrating our Filipino culture. For more information, go to www.FAN-Chicago.org.
Why am I using Zoji?
We're trying out Zoji (instead of Evite) because Zoji seems to offer some advantages. For starters, Evite limits our list to only 500 members, and their emails are often sent to junk mails. We welcome any feedback you may have about this new online invitation service.
Thanks,
