Vice President of Human Resources

TIME WARNER CABLE

Hector Reyes is the Vice President of Human Resources for Time Warner Cable's Local News Division. He handles all human resources functions for local news channels in New York City (NY1 News & NY1 Noticias), Albany (Capital News 9), Syracuse (News 10 Now), Binghamton (News 10 Now), Rochester (RNews), Texas (News 8 Austin) and the recently launched Buffalo news channel (YNN Buffalo). This division totals more than 600 employees.

He oversees Talent Acquisition & Retention, Internship Programs, Diversity Initiatives, Compensation & Benefits, Change Management, Employee Relations, HRIS, and Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance.

Mr. Reyes has held many leadership titles in 15 years of career in the business sectors of cable, local news, and programming with Time Warner. He has also been instrumental in the launch of NY1's 24-hour Spanish language news channel NY1 Noticias. His responsibilities included the recruitment and selection of the station's Spanish speaking staffers for day-to-day operations of the news channel.
