(loved it!)
(is a favorite)
Notes
The best Chinese food you'll find outside of chinatown, without having to go to Vancouver. Weekends at brunch-time they have shau-bing you-tiao and soybean milk, a rarity outside of Chinatown.
All other times, they have excellent dishes, duck (zang ca ya), sour cabbage and fish soup (suan cai yu tang), shanghai-style shaven noodles with pork and mushrooms (shanghai cao nian gao), on-and-on...
This place ain't no secret tho, and they are usually short-staffed, so be prepared to wait if you come and rush hour. The owners are very friendly, and if you look Chinese, they expect (and appreciate) that you speak Chinese to them, which is always good practice!

Thanks a lot, Kevin. So, next time I go to Chiang's, I'll just ask for the Gweilo Menu--the one without jellyfish salad and cubed pork gelatin.
