Notes
Had reservations here for Wine Week, where it's all-you-can-taste wine, as different wine vendors circle around bringing samples to your table.  With 7 guys together for a post-college reunion,  however, all-u-can-taste quickly becomes all-u-can-drink...

This is definitely a historic top-notch kind of restaurant... the kind of place where multi-billion-dollar deals are made with handshakes, scandals revealed and hush-money paid, that kind of thing.  The bartender has enough inside dirt to write several books, I bet.

I remember the filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, and oysters were quite excellent, but I can't guarantee any objectivity given the circumstances...

To the wait staff: Andy and I sincerely apologize for what we did to your bathroom

one other thing:  be prepared to break the bank here... at 110 bucks, that was probably the most expensive meal i've ever had  ... maybe you east-coasters are used to it, but for us pho-eating penny-pinching asian west-coasters, it's heart-attack material :|
