i really liked this movie at first, but then i did a little background research on it. it's pretty much complete fiction, not even historical ficiton really.

so ok, maybe this isn't a big deal, but the reason i cared so much is the film really passes it off as if it might be somewhat historically accurate, or at least plausable. but scene after scene, when scrutinized, is made with little care for what history records, and is made solely for dramatic effect. and so i felt cheated and somewhat deceived. if it's fiction, fine, but don't try to convince me think it is more than that...
