I've been there (I am here), and all I can say about it is "Is this Heaven?", and then I hear a voice reply back to me "No, it's The Vortex..." Enough said!

Best Waffle/Ramen/Bacon combo in Seattle. Hmmm....so tasty. Dance floor with many beautiful people is often rocking on the weekends.

Many of the most memorable nights over the past couple years have been spent here - beer drinking, poker, ping-pong, movies, dancing, pizza, ramen... all good ol' fun & great people. It is what it is: The Vortex - sucking people in since 2003(?).
Oh yeah, and I credit my current relationship to the Vortex :o)

One of the best places in Seattle. The host is gracious, the beer copious, and the noodles really hit the spot in those wee hours. Easy parking and open late.

The Vortex is one of Seattle's finest institutions. The owner, ShennyD, never fails to amaze me. The fare is more than excellent; FSM would be proud. It's a great place to hang out with the locals. I'm VERY lucky to share in the debauchery fun times at The Vortex! Thank FSM! Ramen.

Once you go, you never want to leave. I've never had the ramen, but I hear the noodles are exceptional. Everyone should take a lesson in customer service from the owner, Dan Shen. The Beer Pong table is the most happening one I have ever seen in my entire life. Parking is pretty easy.
ETA: Kevin, the manager, also provides excellent entertainment when he becomes "Fun Kevin."
