i went there for the happy hour which is basically a lot of small dinners for $5.  the mac n cheese tasted great definitely better than most i've had, and everyone else was happy with there food.  next time i want to try the $5 "late night breakfast" which includes eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast and some other items i can't remember.

although $5 may not seem like a super cheap happy hour, the food is definitely above standard happy hour fare - much tastier and more dinner like than nachos, burgers etc...

if you're really hungry or a big person you'd probably eat 2 of there happy hour dinners.  the portion size is probably about how much a standard restaurant in europe serves for dinner, not our big american portions we're used to... but hey it's only $5 a meal!

if you're hungry for comfort food after hours, this is the place to go! it's usually pretty crowded though, so expect to stand in line for a while. (parking sucks too)

Used to go there after rehearsal with another community orchestra (which will remain anonymous). Some good cheap eats on the menu after 10PM.

Went there for desset recently. Service was great!  Desserts are not tiny little fufi things, but instead large and delicious.  Always has a good ambience and polite people.  Aside from being an excellent classical guitarist and rumored cellist, Jeremy Hardy knows hows to run a restaurant.

The ever-changing menu is fun, sort of.  The food is typical Seattle breakfast food: some kind of hoppin' john, some kinda tofu-egg thing, etc.  Parking sucks in QA.  Not worth a wait at all.

YUM YUM YUMMMMMM
Their menu changes every couple of months to fit with their current geographical theme, so you have to keep going back to this place.  They also have some food that's on their "permanent" menu that includes one of my favorites, honey stung fried chicken.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner ALL kick butt at this place.  Late night/cheap happy hour menu available after 10pm I think?

Also, a friend of mine claims that 5 Spot served him the best beer he's EVER had (I wouldn't know since I don't drink beer).
