Seattle Restaurant Reviews: Purple Cafe and Wine Bar

it is quite expensive, but it was deserving of the cost (it helped that i didn't have to pay, but i don't go to nice restaurants if i have to pay and feel i can still judge impartially).  the atmosphere was nice, our server was a perhaps a little too excited about doing his job but he was very nice and helpful and depending on how you like your service this could be a plus, and the food was excellent.  of all the dishes we ordered (4) there was only one that i didn't think was delicious and it was a dish that was someone else's favorite.

i don't know if the kirkland location is any different than the seattle (some people haven't liked the seattle location, i haven't been there) but among nice restaurants this ranks among my top.
